During the month of March we had a little "competition" in the mission with the winners being brought into Antofagasta for lunch with Presidente and Hermana Bruce and an afternoon of the NCAA Final Basketball Game. The winning companionship who won March Madness came to the mission home with two of our Assistants.
First on the schedule was to hike the mountain behind our home with Presidente Bruce. They climbed to the second mountain and talked about missionary work for two hours. They showered afterwards in the downstairs bano and then we had lunch. Soon everyone was settled in for the basketball game, Kentucky vs. Kansas. It wasn't the most exciting game but for four young men who don't watch sports it was a great event. They filled their bags with leftover candy after the game and then headed back to their sectors on TurBus. It was a great day with four great missionaries.
