Favorite Mission Chicken

This is my favorite chicken dish to make for our final dinner with missionaries returning home.  It is easy to prepare and always tastes tender and delicious.  I even prepare the chicken the night before and bake it in the morning.  Best of all, all the ingredients can be found here in Chile!!!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Season chicken tenders with pepper and Lawry’s Seasoning Salt.  Wrap each chicken tender with a piece of bacon and place in a 9x13 baking dish.  I can usually fit 15 pieces of chicken in a pan.

In a bowl mix together 1 can of cream of mushroom soup with 2 cups whipping cream.  Pour over the chicken and cover with aluminum foil.  Bake at 225 degrees for four hours.  Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes at 350 degrees.  This is a perfect dish to prepare and bake during church.  Make some rice after church and you have a delicious dinner.

  2. HEY! Im writing you on here because I could not find your email. So Hi President and Sister Bruce! You guys recently received a very special young man who I was able to baptize in my mission in Santiago, Chile. Elder Cubillos or Elder Flores, I forgot which last name the latins use for their missions. :) Anyways I don't know what commandments you guys have made on emailing, but I would like to email him as he is the only member in his family and has little support. So if you guys have made the rule of only being able to email family, I guess I would like receive special permission to email him. What do you think?? :)
